I have two labs right now. Both of them are about seven years old, so they have few good years left. However, I read stories like yours and dread the day that I have to make the same decision. I guess that is a part of owning a dog. It would be nice if they lived as long as we did, but sadly, it’s not the case. Thanks for the heartfelt post.
