Mapping Techniques Every Sportsman Should Know

There are two sources of mapping programs available on Google that all sportsmen should become familiar with, at least to some extent.

The first program is simply known as Google Maps.   I’ve used many mapping programs to plot a course from one destination to another, but this one has got to be the best.   Check it out.   Once you’ve drawn out your street maps be sure to click on the satellite view for some interesting pictures.

The next company is also a Google acquisition, called Keyhole.   With this subscription service you can pretend you are viewing real images from outer space in a 3D fashion through one of NASA’s cameras.   Zoom in on your home…your hunting grounds…almost anywhere.   It does seem like some of the urban areas have higher resolution than the country…but still it gives you a good idea on how to plot out your next hunting trip.   Check it out.
